Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira recently shot for Koffee With Karan. Not only will it be the first time that Mira will be appearing on national television and sharing her thoughts about Shahid in the public domain.
A source from the sets says that Shahid’s biwi came across as candid and spontaneous. “Mira spoke from the heart. She wasn’t guarded or measured in her comments. She is young and bindaas, which reflected in her attitude and conversation. When Karan asked about her Delhi-based family and their reaction to her marrying a big actor, she underplayed it saying it’s not a big deal for them. ‘They are from a literary background and were never star-struck’, she said. Last year, when the news about the two getting married was out, there was a lot of hullabaloo on the age difference between Shahid and Mira. She is 13 years younger to him. The source informs that this subject was touched upon by Karan, “When asked about it, both Shahid and Mira reacted to it sportingly. The banter between the two was quite funny and at one point, Mira just turned around and called Shahid a cradle-snatcher!”
The episode of Shahid – Mira is going to be legend-wait for it-dary! For the first time, there will be a proper interaction with the star’s wife on public platform. After making us wait for more than a year, the couple have finally decided to flaunt their chemistry which we usually see only on Sasha’s Insta posts. With KJo has a host, it’s pretty obvious that there’s gonna be a lot of cattiness coming up for us. We do wonder how Mira will play along though. While sources have confirmed that she was a total chiller, we’ll still need proof and that will happen when the episode airs.
