In their first small screen appearance on Karan Johar’s show Twinkle made huge revelations and even said that Dimple Kapadia actually thought Akshay was a gay.OMG!
The first episode with Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt left us all laughing and the second one gonna make you leave pretty shocked. The guest for the second episode was star couple Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar. Twinkle talked about her Bollywood career and about her successful love story.
Here are the 6 shocking revelations:
1. Levi’s controversy
Twinkle came very clear when she was asked about the Levi’s ‘unbutton’ controversy. Twinkle cleared the air that she did it on Akshay’s insistence and it was only the top button. The following day, Akshay was receiving his Padma Shri and Dimple called and told Twinkle that police was looking for her owing to the act. Even people pee on the wall with their danglers out and it was only she who got arrested and got a bail at Rs. 500 fine.
2 Rani Mukerji’s career twinkled due to Twinkle
It was Twinkle who was first got the offer for the role of Tina in the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai as she was Karan’s best friend. But the actress did not like the role and eventually, it went to Rani. And to mention it is considered among Rani’s best movies till date and Mrs. Funnybones takes the credit.
3. Twinkle was Karan’s first love
Twinkle and Karan grew up as childhood buddies. During their schooling, Karan had a crush on Twinkle but for a brief period. Twinkle also added that the reason was she had a moustache then and a testosterone of level 11, which was equal to any man. To this Karan became speechless and Akshay laughed out his heart.
4. Twinkle said Akshay was initially a fling
Though this star couple have the Bollywood industry relationship goals, but their relationship started as a fling. Twinkle came out of a long relationship and was in no mood to commit. 5. Twinkle on connection between Mela being a flop and her marriage
The story goes this way, Akshay wanted to marry Twinkle but she had some Bollywood dreams, but when Mela flopped, Akshay’s luck shined. But things were not easy as Dimple thought Akshay to be a gay and instructed both of them to live together and then the rest could be seen.
6. Twinkle’s marriage tip
Twinkle did lots of research on Akshay’s family background. Not in terms of money but in terms of his family health. She wanted to marry primarily to have kids and wanted to ensure that the family don’t have any genetic diseases. This method was even recommended by Akshay Kumar. I think this is a very wise and practical approach and can be taken as advice for who are planning to tie knots.

Have you watched the recent episode of Karan Johar’s show? The episode featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, who flaunted her baby bump like a boss throughout her period of pregnancy and the gorgeous Sonam Kapoor, whos always been the talk of the town for setting trends with her style statements. In this blog topic by CRB Tech Reviews, we bring for you the latest updates on the show.
To mention, it was for the third time that Sonam graced the couch, Kareena made earlier appearances with co-star Rani Mukherjee, ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor, and husband Saif Ali Khan.
With friends coming together in this episode; we expected lots of revelations. However, our excitement turned into disappointment when Kareena kept her janani side on display just as Karan pointed out. He finally asked her to stop being a Janani from the mount Kailash
Kareena said that she dont plan things ahead, and just goes with a flow and Sonam said she always dated a businessman from London, the beauties escaped answering questions about their personal lives, specifically those related to Taimur and Anand Ahuja.
The episode mainly focussed around discussing Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and PC.
Here are the highlights of the not so-exciting episode:
1) There is none like Saif Ali Khan
That was the words of the Begum for her Nawab. While Sonam expressed her love for Saif, his wife feels that there is no one in the industry from the current generation who can match up to Saif’s deadly combi of mental and physical appeal.
2) We are just friends
Sonam Kapoor, was refusing to talk about her personal life, but revealed how Karisma Kapoor, tries to hook her up with cousin Ranbir Kapoor. Anyways, within a few seconds, Sonam made it very clear that they are good friends and nothing will ever brew between the two.
3) Hollywood is not for me
Kareena is very passionate about her career and films, but said that she don’t have the same courage and dedication as Priyanka Chopra to step into Hollywood. Both Kareena and Sonam feels that Priyanka is very talented and making the nation proud.
4) Ajun Kapoor only excites the guests
Unexpectedly Karan Johar invited the not-so-unexpected Arjun Kapoor to this episode too. Bringing Arjun to decide who wins the hamper is so repetitive in this season that it doesnt excite the viewers anymore.
5) Not-so-rapid-fire round
Sonams non-relevant answer of turning into a veggie after Neerja and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo gave a good laughter, her performance was really boring with her long speech on every question. Hence Kareena won this round with her blunt, yet witty, answers.
And to say, there were no Koffee Quiz this time, the only change in the episode.

Karan, who is all set to judge musical show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ with Shalmali Kholgade, Shekhar Ravjiani rapper Badshah, said at the launch, “Celebrities are speaking much lesser this season because they are so aware that there is some ‘.com’ sitting on their heads, which is literally uploading and hanging on to every word they say.All the celebrities are coming guarded this time because everything they say becomes a headline, which may be great for the show but not always great for them,” the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director told ANI.
Karan insisted that the show is meant for a casual watch and that everything said in the show should not be taken seriously.”Not every word should be whacked or over-analysed. At times people interpret things seriously or in different way but it shouldn’t be seen that way. I don’t think anyone sitting on the couch means to offend anyone.”
Further, when asked about his experience of shooting the 100th episode with Salman Khan and his brothers, who are going to appear on the show this weekend, Karan said, “I was most excited as he (Salman) came for the 100th episode. It was ‘Koffee’ century. He came with his brothers. It was an amazing episode and you should watch it.”

When we heard about Katrina Kaif coming on the show with Hrithik Roshan we got damn excited. The two have worked together in films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Bang Bang (2014) and their chemistry is simply terrific. They share a great working relationship and we would have loved to see the extremely good-looking pair on the show. Now, buzz is Anushka Sharma will pair up with Kat instead of Hrithik. There was a lot of speculation around who will be on the show but it seems Karan Johar felt that Kat and Anushka would make a great jodi. This happened on Thursday evening. It seems the episode will be shot in a few days. The two actresses share a cordial relationship and bonded well during the making of their last film. We know that Katrina was initially supposed to be on the show with Salman Khan. Now, that would have been a kickass episode and we are sure millions would have been glued on their TV for that one. Sadly, it did not materialise. Post that, rumours surfaced that she was avoiding the idea as she did not want to be questioned on her ex-Ranbir Kapoor. The source told the paper, “Now that Katrina will appear on the show with Anushka, she will be more comfortable. It goes without saying that she will be grilled with all kinds of questions.” It seems Karan was unavailable for a comment.
Earlier this year, the two actresses were seen bonding at a special screening of Sultan, which starred Anushka as Arfa. In fact, they have a mutual admiration company. Anushka has called Katrina the prettiest and sexiest actress of Bollywood. In a statement, she said, “Katrina is my favorite co-star because I had such a good relationship with her. We’re definitely not trying to make up things here. We can’t help but notice that of all the pictures that have been released so far, none was able to portray Ranbir and Ranveer’s friendly bonding. They all shouted Discomfort. Especially this one, a viewer does get a feeling that Ranbir Kapoor was surely uninterested in what Ranveer Singh was saying and as a result he chose to ignore him. He was looking something below which clearly hints at dissatisfaction and disinterest.

As an audience, we had a feeling that Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh sat miles apart from each other on purpose. Though it is very common and Varun and Arjun too maintained the same distance but there was an unspoken aloofness between them. Arjun and Varun giggled together while the latter even slept on Arjun’s lap. But the same camaraderie was missing between RK and RS. And knowing how Ranveer is, he can get comfortable with anyone but guess he couldn’t connect with Ranbir this time.

Just notice the smile that came on these actors’ faces as soon as Arjun Kapoor joined them on the couch. We assumed that Ranbir and Ranveer heaved a sigh of relief after seeing a common friend in Arjun Kapoor. Ranbir was definitely happier in Arjun’s company that he went to an extent of kissing him. We assume Karan Johar must have even blessed Arjun Kapoor in his mind for trying to ease the tension at least for a few minutes.
