Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khans upcoming film Ki And Ka is among the awaited films this year. And the first motion poster of this R Balki project was unveiled a while ago.
In this Balki film, Arjun Kapoor plays a progressive house-husband, who leaves no stone un-turned in supporting his wifes ambitions. Kareenas character, on the other hand, is an out-and-out career-driven person. The film, from what is known about it so far, is an attempt at breaking societal perceptions of what is normal for men and women. Among the most eye-catching bits in the poster is Kareena Kapoor Khan tying a mangalsutra around Arjun Kapoors neck. A twist, this.
Earlier, the producers had taken to Twitter to share the first look of the film.
Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a cameo in the film along with wife Jaya Bachchan, took to Facebook to share the motion poster of Ki And Ka. The producers, Eros International, also tweeted the same. Heres the poster.
Balki finished the script in July 2015. The film derives its title from linguistic gender divisions of the Hindi language found in the words "ladki" and "ladka" meaning "girl" and "boy".A young couples marriage challenges the gender roles placed upon men and women in Indian society.
The film will be released in India on April 1, 2016, by Eros International.
